An administrative case of discrediting the Russian army was initiated against Igor Hrynyov, a member of the Krasnoyarsk city council from the CPRF party. This is stated on the website of the Railway District Court of the city.

In a conversation with Prospekt Myra, the deputy clarified that the protocol was drawn up against him for his statement “about the surrender of Kherson and the abandonment of people who trusted us.” The administrative case was initiated by the prosecutor’s office based on an anonymous denunciation.

Grynyov’s case came to court on March 31. The date of his review has not yet been set.

In March 2023, Igor Hrynyov had a conflict with his United Russian colleague Vyacheslav Dyukov. In one of the interviews, the Communist said that while working in the emergency hospital, due to political pressure, he was transferred from neurosurgeon to orderly.

Dyukov received a response from the medical institution, according to which Hrynov was dismissed from his post due to the lack of accreditation in the federal register of medical workers. Edinoross wrote on social networks that “the ostentatious false position of a victim of political repressions does not at all flatter” Grynyov.

  • The “surrender of Kherson”, which Grynyov spoke about, is the retreat of Russian troops in November 2022 from the city previously occupied by them. The Russian military explained this decision by the difficulties of supplying troops in the Kherson region on the right bank of the Dnieper.
  • Kherson was occupied by Russian troops in February 2022, shortly after the start of a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Later, Russia announced the annexation of the city and the Kherson region. According to the Russian Constitution, this is one of the country’s 89 regions. No one in the world, except for the DPRK, recognizes this.
