In the Buryat village of Zyryansk, in the “Oduvanchyk” kindergarten, a stand was made in memory of the soldiers – Anton Kolmakov and Vladyslav Vyshnyakov, who died in the war against Ukraine. This is reported by “People of Baikal”.
In the footage published by the publication, children marched with Russian flags to the song of Oleg Gazmanov. Then the teachers removed the red fabric from the stand with photos of the soldiers and handed bouquets of flowers to several women, probably relatives of the dead. After that, children and adults laid flowers.
It is not specified why the memorial corner was organized in the kindergarten and where exactly the servicemen died.
- According to the latest estimates by “Mediazon” and the Russian service of the BBC, more than 18 thousand Russian servicemen and mercenaries, including almost 600 residents of Buryatia, have died since the beginning of Russia’s war with Ukraine. This is one of the highest rates of death among all Russian regions.
- The real number of the dead may be higher, since journalists include in the list only those data that have been verified.
