The FSB of Russia announced the detention of a local resident in the annexed Crimea, who, according to the special service, was supplying Ukraine with components for military aviation equipment.
A criminal case under the article of treason has been initiated against the detainee, whose name has not been disclosed. He has been arrested, according to a message from the Center for Public Relations of the FSB, received by Interfax.
According to the department, the suspect was recruited by representatives of the Ukrainian special services and, for a monetary reward, transported Russian-made military aircraft components to Ukraine.
According to the article on treason, a resident of Crimea faces punishment up to life imprisonment.
