A court in Krasnodar fined a local resident, Alexandra (she asked that her last name not be given) for an article about discrediting the government and the army for photos on Instagram. This is reported by “Mediazona”.
According to Aleksandra, five screenshots from her Instagram with 180 subscribers were sent to the case. Among them: a sticker with the inscription “Peace” and photos of bags with the phrases “No war” and “Sex is cool, but putin’s death better” [Секс – это круто, но смерть Путина – лучше]. For this, the court imposed a fine of 30,000 rubles.
A week ago, the second court fined Alexander 200 thousand rubles for a tattoo in the form of a dog with a rainbow flag and the inscription “The dog is gay”. The court considered this image “LGBT+ propaganda”.
As Alexandra told, after the arrest the policemen forbade her to call a lawyer, threatened to “dig something else up”, and asked how the teacher’s mother had “such an ill-mannered daughter with such inclinations”.
The defense intends to appeal the judges’ decisions.
