In Perm, police officers detained a 42-year-old local resident who tried to set fire to a military enlistment office. She explained her actions as a requirement of “FSB employees” who contacted her in the Viber messenger. This was reported by the SHOT telegram channel and the publication Properm.
The incident happened on the evening of November 14. A local resident was detained at the building of the military enlistment office. Bottles with incendiary mixture were found with her. SHOT reports that she managed to throw one of them through the window, but the bottle broke outside and the building was not damaged.
According to a local resident, unknown people wrote to her in Viber, claiming that they were FSB employees. With threats, they forced her to go to arson. The police opened a criminal case under the article on intentional destruction of property.
Earlier in Obninsk, the police detained a 70-year-old local school teacher on suspicion of arson at the military enlistment office. He allegedly threw a bottle of incendiary mixture into the building. The detainee stated that he was not trying to commit arson, but, on the contrary, wanted to beat down the flames with a cane.
