A resident of the Belgorod Region complained to Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov about the behavior of the Russian military in the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka. In a comment to the governor’s post on the VKontakte social network, a user wrote that military personnel enter the homes of evacuated local residents, steal personal belongings, and leave trash behind.
In response, the head of the administration of the Shebekinsky District reported that the application was forwarded to the city administration.
Some commentators condemned the user. According to them, reports of the presence of military personnel can provoke a missile attack on a populated place.
- Novaya Tavolzhanka is located in the Shebekinsky District of the Belgorod Region, not far from the border with Ukraine. The settlement regularly comes under fire. Recently, they have become more intense. Most residents evacuated to safer regions.
- Armed formations acting on the side of Ukraine, the Russian Volunteer Corps and the Legion “Freedom of Russia” took responsibility for several raids in the Belgorod Region. Among other things, representatives of the formations talked about taking control of Nova Tavolzhanka. After some time, the governor of the Belgorod region rejected these messages.
