Togliatti Automobile Factory Court sentenced a local resident Alexey Arbuzenko by six years of the general regime colony. He was found guilty of defacing posters depicting Russian servicemen participating in the invasion of Ukraine, reports 63.ru.
According to the verdict, Arbuzenko, together with his minor son, threw stones and clods of earth at the military posters installed along the roads in Tolyatti. A total of five such cases were identified.
For this, the Togliatti resident was found guilty of discrediting the Russian army, vandalism, and involvement of a minor in the commission of a crime. It follows from the press release of the FSB that the sentence has already been approved by the court of second instance.
- In October, a court in Novosibirsk fined local resident Iryna Bocharova 15,000 rubles for tearing up a poster with “thanks to the heroes of a special military operation,” as the Russian authorities call the invasion of Ukraine. She explained her action by the fact that she did not want her child to see propaganda.
