The court in Chita sentenced a local resident to 14 years in prison on charges of murdering a 22-year-old girl in the village of Ugdan. In the press release of the investigation department, the name of the convicted person was not specified, only the date of birth was 1981.

At the same time, the composition and circumstances of the crime coincide with the case of 42-year-old Tsyren-Dorzha Tsyrenzhapov. This is not the first time he received such a term.

In October of last year, it became known that a resident of Chita Tsyrenzhapov, who was sentenced to 14 years for the murder of a girl, served four years, participated in the war with Ukraine, returned, killed a person again, after which he was imprisoned.

In October 2019, Tsyrenzhapov met 18-year-old Ekaterina Skvortsova. According to the investigation, being drunk, he strangled and dismembered the girl, and drowned the remains in the river. The head of the murdered man was found in the yard by children. In February 2020, Tsyrenzhapov was sentenced to 14 years in a penal colony and ordered to pay two million rubles to the deceased grandmother.

The exact date of release of Tsyrenzhapov, who served less than a third of his term, is unknown. It was reported that he was freed after enlisting in the war against Ukraine, returned home, and on September 13, 2023, killed a 22-year-old woman during a quarrel in the village of Ugdan, Chitinsky District. The investigation reports that this happened “during an argument.”
