The Belgorod Regional Court sentenced a resident of Tver to four years in a strict regime colony in the case of preparation for high treason. He was also given an hour of restriction of freedom.

At the end of April, as the agency notes, the FSB reported the detention of a 20-year-old resident of Tver who tried to cross the border with Ukraine in order to join the ranks of the “Freedom of Russia” region and start fighting on the side of the Ukrainian forces.

According to the FSB, the young man collected information about Russian military personnel located in the territories adjacent to the border, and also developed a route for crossing the border. In addition, he was accused of planning to set fire to the military enlistment office and send a video report about it to his “supervisors,” Mediazona writes.
