The Investigative Committee of Russia claims that the suspect in the murder of Stanislav Rzytskyi, the deputy head of the mobilization department of the local administration, has been detained in the Krasnodar region.

According to the official release of the SC, the detainee’s name is Sergey Denysenko, he was born in 1959, and a pistol with a silencer was allegedly found in his possession, with which, presumably, the murder was committed. The department did not provide any other details.

Stanislav Rzytsky was killed on Monday in Krasnodar. He was going for a morning run, an unknown person watched over him on the route and fired several shots from a pistol. Rzhitsky died on the spot.

The murdered man was 42 years old. Previously, he served in the navy and was the commander of the Krasnodar submarine equipped with Kalibr cruise missiles. Ukrainian mass media claimed that his submarine participated in the shelling of Vinnytsia in July of last year, released “Caliber” from the Black Sea. Dozens of civilians were killed and wounded as a result of the shelling.

In addition, a person with the same name and surname is included in the database of the Ukrainian site “Mirotvorets”, which collects data on war crimes by the Russian army. It states that Rzytsky was the commander of the submarine “Alrosa” and took a direct part in the military invasion of Ukraine. It is not known when Rzhitsky left the submarine fleet for the position of deputy head of the department for mobilization work in Krasnodar.

In turn, Rzytskyi’s relatives claim that he retired from the army before the invasion of Ukraine and did not directly participate in it.
