“Ukrzaliznytsia” noted that the grain train, which was scattered by protesting Polish farmers, was destined for Germany and was not supposed to reach Poland.

About this noted the press service of “Ukrzaliznytsia” on its Telegram page.

“Ukrzaliznytsia” noted that inthe country’s cargo was going to Germany in transit through Poland.

Ukrzaliznytsia strictly adheres to the ban on the import of grain cargoes to the Republic of Poland introduced in April 2023 and only transits these cargoes through the territory of the neighboring country. All wagons at the border are checked by the control bodies of Poland, they are sealed. This makes it impossible for Ukrainian grain to enter the Polish market”– the company noted.

They also note that about 40 Ukrainian freight cars with agricultural products are waiting for transshipment at the “Medyka” station. The Polish Railways and the Embassy of Ukraine in Poland were informed about the unauthorized interference in the work of the railway.
