A young Ukrainian athlete takes off: Silver in diving at the World Cup

Alexey Sereda won a silver medal in the Superfinal of the World Cup in diving. The competitions are currently being held on the territory of Berlin, Vechernye Vesty reports with reference to the Telegram channel of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine.
The 17-year-old athlete from Ukraine achieved a result that placed him in second place in the discipline of individual diving. The medalist jumped from a height of 10 meters. He lost the gold medal to the four-time world champion, the Chinese athlete Yang Hao. The difference between them was 56.8 points. And there is also a gap of 12.4 points between the Ukrainian athlete and the bronze medalist Noah Williams.
“We solemnly congratulate our young medalist. The vice-champion, as well as all the coaches who helped to achieve the results of the Ukrainian national team,” the Ukrainian committee emphasizes.
Kotovsky also received the silver award.
