Accident at the substation: Half of Odessa remained without power
Due to the accident at the substation, half of Odessa, including objects of critical infrastructure, was left without power supply. This is reported by “DTEK Odesskie Elektrosety”.

“Due to the large-scale accident at the Ukrenergo NEC substation, the Suvorovsky, Primorsky and Malinovsky districts of Odessa and part of the Odessa district are temporarily without electricity. Objects of critical infrastructure, industry and household clients have been destroyed,” the message says.
The company added that Ukrenergo’s power engineers are already eliminating the accident, and the power supply will be restored after the work is completed. Please treat the situation with understanding.

As a result of the Russian missile attack on January 26, the energy infrastructure of the Odesa region received significant damage, because of this, emergency shutdowns are still in place in the region.
