Actions in memory of politician Boris Nemtsov are taking place in Russian cities

In Novosibirsk and Barnaul, local deputies tried to coordinate the holding of late meetings, but were refused by the city authorities.

In Samara, a spontaneous memorial was created by local libertarians. They brought flowers, candles and photos of Boris Nemtsov and Alexei Navalny to the fountain in the city center. Even before their arrival, the police were on duty there.

In Kirov, activists were able to defend their right to hold a rally in court, reports “7×7”. Initially, the officials did not allow them to honor the memory of the murdered politician, but the regional court ordered the city administration to reconsider the application.

In St. Petersburg, citizens carry flowers in memory of Nemtsov to the Solovetsky Stone, a monument to victims of political repression.

In Moscow, flowers, candles and portraits of the politician are brought to the place of his murder on the Bolshoi Moskvoretsky Bridge. The spontaneous memorial to Nemtsov appeared here immediately after his death and continues to exist despite the fact that the police and city authorities regularly try to destroy it. Today, US Ambassador to Moscow Lynn Tracy took part in laying flowers on the bridge, “Dozhd” TV channel reports.
