Actor Dmitriy Nazarov was charged with discrediting the army

Actor Dmytro Nazarov, who publicly condemned Russian aggression against Ukraine, was charged with the article on discrediting the army. “Mediazon” drew attention to the card in the database of Moscow courts, the press service of the court confirmed this information.

In January, People’s Artist of Russia Dmitry Nazarov and his wife, Honored Artist Olga Vasilieva, were fired from the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater. Later, the actor told in an interview with the journalist Kateryna Gordeeva that the director of the theater, Konstantin Khabensky, required them to leave in order to preserve the armor against mobilization for 29 subordinates.

Nazarov was also removed from the filming of the new adaptation of Ilya Ilf and Evgeny Petrov’s novel “12 Chairs”. In the film, which is planned to be released by the end of the year, he was supposed to play the role of Kysa Vorobyaninov. It is noted that several scenes with Nazarov’s participation have already been filmed, however, he will still be replaced by another actor, and the episodes will be reshot.
