Alexei Moskalev was extradited to Russia

Alexei Moskalev was extradited from Belarus to Russia. This is reported by “OVD-Info” with reference to the Belarusian defender who tried to visit him in the pre-trial detention center in the city of Zhodyno.

Earlier, more than 40 anti-war and human rights initiatives appealed to the European Union to prevent Moskalev’s extradition to Russia and to ensure his transfer to a safe country.

Moskalev, who was sentenced to two years in prison on the charge of repeatedly discrediting the Russian army, was detained in Minsk on March 30. He escaped from house arrest in Russia the day before the trial.
