An ex-employee of the Omsk defense enterprise was accused of treason

The FSB of Russia reported on the detention in the Omsk region of a former employee of the enterprise of the defense-industrial complex of Russia. A criminal case for treason was opened against him.
According to the department, the suspect established contact with a representative of Germany in order to give him information “about important military objects of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.” In exchange for this, the suspect counted on help in obtaining German citizenship, according to the FSB of Russia.
RIA “Novosti” published a video of the detention provided by the FSB. On it, operatives in balaclavas knock the suspect to the ground, put handcuffs on him, and then count the euros allegedly found in his bag.

Several of them were connected with accusations of working for the Ukrainian special services. For the entire period of 1997-2021, 117 people were accused of treason.
