The oppositionist, who is serving his sentence in a colony in Segezhe, was transferred to a strict prison sentence (SUS) a few days ago. This is stated in the letter published in the Telegram channel “Pyvovarov’s Team”.

Now Pyvovarov is not allowed to move around the territory of the colony. “My living space is fenced off from the passage by a continuous grid from floor to ceiling, and inside it is divided by another grid, which separates the day (living) and night (sleeping) zones,” the letter says.

According to Pivovarov, he is alone and does not cross paths with other prisoners. “It is surprising, indeed, that in the entire colony there was not more than one person in the strict conditions of serving a sentence,” the politician writes.

  • In July of last year, a court in Krasnodar sentenced the former executive director of “Otkrytoy Rossii” Andrey Pyvovarov to four years in a general regime colony. He was found guilty under the criminal article on the implementation of the activities of an “undesirable organization”. The politician did not admit guilt. After losing his appeal in November, the court’s decision entered into force.
