Artist and civic activist Katryn (Ekaterina) Nenasheva was detained in Priozersk, Leningrad region. As she managed to write on Facebook, the police approached her when she was having dinner with a friend in a cafe. The pretext for the detention was “orientation”.
Nenasheva’s friend, who witnessed the detention, confirmed the information to Sota. According to her friend, Nenasheva was put in a police car and driven away in an unknown direction. Other details of the detention are still unknown. As reported by Doxa, Nenasheva’s current acquaintance is looking for a lawyer for her.
- This is not the first detention of Katryn Nenasheva. She has attracted the attention of the police several times with her civic activity in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
