Astarta started the development of the Anti-Corruption Program for 2024-2027.

The purpose of this document is to raise the existing standards of the company’s activity in the field of prevention and countering corruption, taking into account the best global practices, and to introduce a set of relevant anti-corruption tools to improve management efficiency, reduce the risk of losses and create ethical entrepreneurship in Ukraine.

In order to develop a reference version of the Anti-corruption program, Astarta turned to the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption with a proposal for cooperation in creating this document, applying the experience and achievements of the state in this field.

Astarta is ready to become an ambassador of virtuous business in Ukraine. This is not an easy task and we understand all its complexity. That is why the cooperation and experience of NAKC are very important for us and are the first steps towards establishing permanent and effective interaction between state authorities and the business environment.

This, in our opinion, will also contribute to the implementation of systemic institutional changes in the field of anti-corruption policy, the creation of a culture of ethical entrepreneurship, the formation of zero tolerance for corruption in society,” said Vasyl Chmelyuk, director of Astarta’s security and internal control department.

The first working meeting of representatives of Astarta and NAZK took place last week. The parties hope that the jointly developed document of Astarta’s Anti-Corruption Program will also become a methodical guide for other private companies in Ukraine. After all, business plays an important role in the life of any country, so the issue of preventing corruption and spreading the principles of integrity in the private and public sectors is a key prerequisite for attracting investments, restoring the economy and civil infrastructure of Ukraine.
