St. Petersburg bookstore “Vse svobodny” was forced at the request of the police to remove the inscription “Peace” from the window, which was applied shortly after Russia’s attack on Ukraine. This is stated in the telegram channel of the store.
“Today, a police team came to us and politely asked to remove the inscription from the window. We ourselves are surprised that it hung for so long,” – wrote the employees of the store.
At the very beginning of the war, the employees of the bookstore painted the slogan “Peace — peace!” on the window. In March, an unknown person damaged the window with a shot, presumably from a pneumatic or trauma pistol. After that, only the inscription “Peace” remained on the glass. The other day, the letters “Zа” were added to it. Store employees do not know who did it.
