August 15 exchange rate: how much are the cash dollar and euro worth

On Tuesday, August 15, it became more expensive to sell the dollar on the “black” market, while the euro weakened.

This is stated in the data minfin.com.ua, finance.ua.

At 11:30, the dollar exchange rate against the hryvnia on the “black market” was 37.43 – 37.56 hryvnias, against quotes of 37.23 – 37.52 on Monday. The exchange rate spread narrowed, and therefore it became more expensive to sell the dollar.

At the same time, the “black” rate of the euro weakened, and amounted to UAH 40.98 – 41.36 against the rate of UAH 41.13 – 41.5 per euro on Monday.

The average currency exchange rates at bank counters were as follows:

  • US dollar – UAH 37.0 – UAH 37.65 (exchange rate on August 14 – UAH 37.0 – UAH 37.65);
  • Euro – 40.8 – 41.5 UAH (rate on August 14 – 40.8 – 41.55 UAH).

In terms of banks, the cash rates are as follows:

  • Privatbank – UAH 36.85 – 37.45;
  • Oschadbank – UAH 36.95 – UAH 37.85;
  • Ukreximbank – 37.1 – 37.9 UAH;
  • Raiffeisen – UAH 36.8 – 37.7.

As for non-cash payments, the exchange rate when paying by card in banks in Privatbank is UAH 37.45 per dollar, in Oschada – UAH 37.12, in Universal Bank (monobank) – UAH 37.44.
