Blogger-bodybuilder Alexander Shpak was arrested in absentia for “fakes”

A court in Moscow arrested blogger-bodybuilder Alexander Shpak in absentia. An article about the so-called fakes about the Russian army is attributed to him. Earlier, Shpak was fined five times for the article about “discrediting the armed forces of Russia”. The blogger does not approve of Russia’s war in Ukraine and posts footage of the consequences of the hostilities on social networks.
As “Mediazona” clarifies, it became known that a criminal case had been opened against Shpak in January, when the Ministry of Internal Affairs added him to the federal search database.
The court decided to arrest the blogger for two months. The term of arrest will begin to be calculated after his extradition or from the moment of his detention on the territory of Russia, RBC reports.
- Alexander Shpak is a bodybuilder and practitioner of body modification. While living in Russia, he participated in television talk shows, where he talked about how he changes his body with the help of bodybuilding, plastic surgery and tattoos. In 2020, Shpak moved to Turkey, now he lives in Montenegro.
