“According to the information of the Polish border guards, 2,400 trucks are waiting in the directions where the blockade continues as of this morning: Shegyny – 1,200, Rava-Ruska – 550, Krakow – 650,” Demchenko said.

He noted that more than 1,200 freight trucks passed through the unlocked Yagodyn-Dorogusk checkpoint in the past day.

As far as Slovakia is concerned, according to the spokesperson of the DPSU, 450 freight trucks were expected in the direction of Ukraine in the direction of the “Uzhgorod – Vyshne-Nemetske” checkpoint, and the blocking of the movement of vehicles from Ukraine temporarily stopped.

The protest action of Polish carriers at the border crossings in Dorohusk and Hrebenno (Lublin Voivodeship) and in Korchova (Podkarpattia Voivodeship) began on November 6. The strikers pass several cars per hour, demanding first of all the return of the permit system for Ukrainian carriers.

Meanwhile, since November 23, farmers from the “Deceived Village” organization have been protesting in Medyka. They demand, among other things, subsidies for corn.
