The profile committee of the Verkhovna Rada began to consider draft laws No. 7466 and No. 7468, according to which customs clearance of vehicles will be carried out through the “Diya” application according to the new formula. This formula will take into account the age of the car, the type or volume of the engine (its power). The head of the committee and the head of the Ministry of Statistics, Mikhail Fedorov, reported this in Telegram.

“Customs duty will be charged according to the new calculation system. Enter three characteristics in the calculator — hours of the car, type or volume of the engine or its power, if there is an electric car. Then the system automatically calculates the cost of the car,” Fedorov noted.
During customs clearance, the value of the vehicle is taken into account, which, according to the authors of the new initiative, creates conditions for potential manipulations and contains corruption risks.

Calculator for calculating the cost of customs payments
A test version of the service is already available in Action on this link, in which you can calculate the cost of the customs payment by entering the hour of manufacture of the vehicle, the type of engine and its working volume.
According to Fedorov, according to the new formula, the size of the customs payment will be smaller.
“For example, you have a 2006 Audi A3 with a diesel engine and an engine capacity of 2 liters. According to the new rules, you will pay UAH 80,132 instead of UAH 143,500,” he clarified.
According to Yaroslav Zheleznyak, the first deputy chairman of the Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy, the bills will be considered in the Verkhovna Rada already in February.
