Embassies of Ukraine will issue birth and death certificates to Ukrainians abroad
The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution according to which citizens of Ukraine, being abroad, will be able to receive services in the field of state registration of acts of civil status. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.

Foreign diplomatic offices of Ukraine are empowered to:
- carrying out state registration of acts of civil status;
- making changes to civil status records, their restoration and cancellation;
- reissuance of certificates of state registration of acts of civil status;
- issuance of lifts from the State Register of Civil Status Acts of Citizens.
The Ministry noted that Ukrainians will have the opportunity to receive the above services abroad regardless of their place of residence or stay.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine must determine the list of foreign diplomatic institutions that will provide services for state registration of civil status acts.
This resolution will enter into force 10 days after its publication.
