“Customs free visa”: almost 4.5 thousand transit declarations were issued in seven months

Since October 1, 2022, when the provisions of the Convention on the Joint Transit Procedure (New Computerized Transit System, NCTS) came into effect, 4,474 thousand transit declarations. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Finance.

“From the beginning of the international application of NCTS on October 1, 2022, 4,474,000 transit declarations. During these 7 months of “customs visa-free” according to 1,198 declarations of joint transit, the goods were successfully delivered to the customs offices of destination in the customs territory of Ukraine,” the message says.
It is noted that in April of this year, 287 such declarations were issued.
In total, 1,372 relocations started in Ukraine were completed last month in the countries participating in the convention. This is almost twice as much as in March 2023.
Moreover, such dynamics have been observed for two months in a row. The total number of people displaced from Ukraine in 7 months reached 3,276.
