At 10 am on Wednesday, the level of the reservoir in the Nikopol area is 14.41 m.
The destruction of the spillway dam, the earthen insert between the station building and the lock, continues.
No extraordinary events were recorded during the night. The intensity of flooding is decreasing, however, due to significant destruction of the dam, water will still arrive, Ukrhydroenergo notes.
As a result of Russians undermining the Kakhovskaya HPP, 1,852 houses have already been flooded in the right-bank Kherson region. 1457 people were evacuated.
Currently, almost 800 people and more than 170 units of emergency services have been involved in dealing with the consequences.
