Since the start of the full-scale war, the national telecom operator has transferred UAH 15.208 billion in taxes and fees to the state budget. Including – UAH 1.4 billion fee for radio frequencies and UAH 53 million military fee.

In addition to the taxes paid in 2022-2023, Kyivstar continues to finance state social projects.

Thus, the company sent UAH 300 million to restore the digital infrastructure of Ukraine, allocated UAH 55 million for special equipment to strengthen the country’s cyber defense, finances the equipment of engineering and sapper groups within the framework of the “Let’s live here” initiative, provides Internet protection for civil defense facilities and military hospitals , etc.

To support Ukrainian mobile phone subscribers, the telecom operator provided bonuses and services without additional payment in the amount of over UAH 500 million during the full-scale war. The total amount of aid to Kyivstar ZSU, subscribers, and the country is over UAH 1.370 billion.

In addition to helping the Armed Forces and society, Kyivstar restores and develops the telecom infrastructure of Ukraine, introduces new communication technologies, and invests in the energy independence of the mobile network.

Thus, since the beginning of the war, the company has modernized more than 10,000 base stations of the 4G network, which made it possible to improve radio coverage in more than 3,400 settlements.

Thanks to the professional work of the company’s employees, 93% of the network in the territory controlled by Ukraine functions stably and provides Ukrainians with communication and data transmission services.
