Two producers and the presenter of the TV channel “Volgograd 24” were fired from their jobs for a New Year’s corporate event in superhero costumes from Hollywood films.

Local patriotic organizations complained about photos from the party that employees posted on their social networks. As a result, the management of the state television and radio broadcasting company “Volgograd-TRV”, which includes the channel “Volgograd 24”, issued an official press release in which it called the employees’ party “an inappropriate and ill-advised outing that has nothing to do with the public position of the team.” .

“The management of GTRK apologizes to its viewers and radio listeners. Heads of services are instructed to strengthen professional training and educational work among young employees,” the official statement also says.

Previously, a public outcry in Russia was caused by a party in one of the Moscow clubs, which was organized by blogger Anastasiya Ivleeva – due to the fact that the participants of the event, among whom were the stars of domestic show business, came to it in a half-naked form.

One of the participants of the party was eventually arrested, Ivleeva had to record a video apologizing, and the singer Philip Kirkorov – to explain himself to the press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov.
