The Rescue Department of Estonia will hand over various equipment to Ukraine to eliminate the consequences of flooding as a result of the explosion of the Kakhovskaya HPP.

Estonia will transfer hoses, pumps, absorbent material, boats, wetsuits, waterproof rubber pants and cork vests to Ukraine.

In total, almost 457,000 euros worth of equipment will be sent. The funds are allocated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The European Commission reported on Tuesday that aid has arrived in Ukraine at this time already 14 EU member states to overcome the consequences of the explosion of the Kakhovskaya HPP – we are talking about 76 boats, more than 300 pumps, and 160,000 items for arranging a shelter.
