Exchange rate on February 22: the euro in banks exceeded 42 hryvnias

On February 22, the National Bank weakened the official exchange rate of the hryvnia to the dollar and the euro for the second time in a row, and cash and non-cash rates in banks reacted accordingly.
This is stated in the data minfin.com.ua, finance.ua.
At 10:00 a.m., the exchange rate of the dollar against the hryvnia on the “black market” was 37.66 – 38.85 hryvnias against quotes of 37.72 – 38.80 hryvnias the day before.
At the same time, the “black” rate of the euro was UAH 41.83 – 41.99 against the rate of UAH 41.91 – 41.99 per euro the day before.
Official dollar rate installed on the level 38.6237 hryvnia, euro – 41.7213 UAH (the day before, the dollar was UAH 38.4756, the euro was UAH 41.5421).
The average currency exchange rates at bank counters were as follows:
- US dollar – 38.4 – 38.9 UAH (rate on February 21 – 38.25 – 38.8 UAH);
- Euro – 41.5 – 42.15 UAH (rate on February 21 – 41.23 – 42.0 UAH).
According to banks, the dollar cash rates are as follows:
- Privatbank – UAH 38.2 – 38.8;
- Oschadbank – UAH 38.4 – UAH 38.9;
- Ukreximbank – 38.35 – 38.95 UAH.
As for non-cash payments, the exchange rate when paying by card in banks in Privatbank is UAH 38.76 per dollar, in Oschada – UAH 38.85, in Universal Bank (monobank) – UAH 38.75.
