Exchange rates on October 5: the hryvnia strengthened somewhat

On October 5, the cash hryvnia slightly strengthened against the dollar and the euro both on the “black market” and in banks.

This is stated in the data minfin.com.ua, finance.ua.

At 09:50, the exchange rate of the dollar against the hryvnia on the “black market” was 37.91 – 38.16 hryvnias against quotes of 38.0 – 38.2 hryvnias the day before.

At the same time, the “black” rate of the euro was UAH 40.29 – 40.61 against the rate of UAH 40.37 – 40.69 per euro the day before.

The average currency exchange rates at bank counters were as follows:

  • US dollar – UAH 37.7 – UAH 38.27 (rate on October 4 – UAH 37.65 – UAH 38.35);
  • Euro – UAH 40.0 – 40.75 (rate on October 4 – UAH 40.0 – 40.8).

In terms of banks, the cash rates are as follows:

  • Privatbank – UAH 37.25 – UAH 37.85;
  • Oschadbank – UAH 37.5 – UAH 38.2;
  • Ukreximbank – 37.5 – 38.10 UAH.

As for non-cash payments, the exchange rate when paying by card in banks in Privatbank is UAH 37.45 per dollar, in Oshchad – UAH 37.45, in Universal Bank (monobank) – UAH 37.44.
