In Moscow, on Saturday, the police detained a girl who came to lay flowers in memory of the victims of the Russian rocket attack on a residential building in Uman at the monument to the writer Lesa Ukrainka. This is reported by “OVD-Info”. The publication publishes a video of the arrest, shot by an eyewitness.

A spontaneous memorial at the monument to Lesa Ukrainka in Moscow arose the night before. People brought flowers. They were not detained, however, late in the evening, as reported, the memorial was vandalized and flowers were removed. On Saturday, they started bringing flowers again. According to “OVD-Info”, in addition to flowers, the detainee also brought a sign with the text on it – unknown.

Earlier, residents of Moscow brought flowers to the Lesa Ukrainka monument after the Russian missile attack on the city of Dnipro in January, when 46 people died.

As a result of a missile attack on Uman in the Cherkassy region of Ukraine on Friday morning, the entrance of a multi-story residential building was completely destroyed. Rescue work was completed on Saturday. 23 people died, including six children. Two people are considered missing. 17 people were rescued from the rubble.

The Ministry of Defense of Russia did not comment on the hit to the residential building, saying that as a result of the missile strike, the areas where the reserves were concentrated in the rear of the Armed Forces were hit, and the strike hit the target. The authorities of Ukraine accuse Russia of terror against the civilian population.
