From May 1, 2023, SC “Express Strahovanie” expanded the conditions of CASCO insurance

SC “Express Strahovanie”, a member of the family of companies of the UkrAVTO group, made changes to 3 CASCO insurance programs, which are designed to ensure a higher level of protection for the Company’s clients in the event of an insurance event. In addition, new options for covering additional costs have been added to the two programs, which will allow customers to evaluate the Company’s new level of service. The changes enter into force on May 1, 2023 and apply to new CASCO contracts.

Customers who choose the “VIP” program now have a higher threshold for paying insurance compensation without a police report – up to 10% of the car insurance amount, which is almost 4 times more than before. The option is valid only on the territory of Ukraine when paying for a company service station, it can be used 2 times per hour. Also, under this program, the territory covered by the agreement was expanded to the entire territory of Georgia (except Abkhazia and South Ossetia). For the Company’s clients who have gone or are planning to go abroad and use the “Premium” or “Premium+” programs, the Company has established a separate limit of payments per tow truck in the amount of 200 euros for each insured event in Europe. In turn, for the VIP program, payments in euros at the NBU exchange rate will also be made on the territory of Georgia. Also, from May 1, 2023, additional options will be available for the “Premium+” and “VIP” programs. The company will reimburse 50% of the customer’s expenses for key replacement, installation of new locks and adjustment of the on-board computer of their cars in the event of their loss or theft. In addition, the insurance company will reimburse the client’s expenses for car salvage up to 2% of the insured sum. These can be, for example, expenses for removing a car from a ditch or reservoir, expenses for the purchase of a fire extinguisher for extinguishing a fire, or expenses for damaged property caused by a maneuver to save a car on a slippery road. It is important to have documentary evidence of these expenses and make sure that they are necessary to reduce the damage to the car.
