Ukraine has resumed electricity exports to Poland

Ukraine resumed the export of electricity to Poland, which was stopped on May 1, when long holidays began in the country and there was no need for additional energy. This is reported by ExPro.

According to the data of the Ukrenergo auction platform, the proposed transmission capacity of electricity to Poland during the “evening peak” hours has been reduced to 0 MW, for the remaining hours it is set at the level of 75 MW. Only one company – DTEK Zapadenergo – buys the section.
In general, the planned volume of exports to Poland on May 8 is 1,225 MWh, which is almost at the same level as the volume of deliveries to Moldova on this day (1,201 MWh).

Electricity imports increased over the weekend: 336 MWh were received from Moldova and 983 MWh from Slovakia.
The total volume of electricity imports since the beginning of May is 2,000 MWh, exports – 12,200 MWh.
