Recently, there have been regular reports of mass “roundups” by police officers, military enlistment offices, and the Investigative Committee at Moscow-area warehouses, construction sites, and company offices in search of those citizens who received citizenship but did not register for the military. Detainees were taken to police stations, and then transferred to military enlistment offices.
