In the center of Moscow, in the Arbat district, unknown people pasted up pictures of Russians, recognized by the authorities as “foreign agents”, as well as those who opposed the invasion of Ukraine and left the country, wearing straitjackets. The corresponding video was published by the telegram channel “Caution, Moscow”.
The billboards are made in the form of advertising for a non-existent psychiatric clinic. As patients who, according to the text on the posters, require treatment for “Russophobia”, “verbal diarrhea” and “personality degradation”, the musician and leader of the group “Nogu Svelo!” are presented. Maxim Pokrovsky, singer Monetochka, actors Artur Smolyaninov, Dmitry Nazarov, Alexey Panin, video blogger Alexander Shpak.
According to mass media, the images were pasted by participants of a “patriotic project”. Earlier, they posted photos of Russian “foreign agents” on advertisements for intimate services.
It is noted that the workers of communal services do not touch the posters.
- The register of so-called foreign agents is maintained by the Ministry of Justice in Russia. At first, NGOs receiving foreign funding fell into it. Later, foreign agents began to recognize private individuals. Foreign financing is no longer required to be included in the list, the inclusion is actually arbitrary.
