Import of electricity to Ukraine is approaching zero – Ukrenergo


Electricity consumption is gradually increasing to the level of a working day, but there is no capacity deficit in the power system and it is not currently forecast.

Currently, all types of power plants are operating in the power system. In addition, hydroelectric power stations are actively operating due to hydropower. Electricity imports are approaching zero.

With the traditional increase in consumption at the beginning of the working week in Odesa, the effects of enemy shelling became apparent. Because of this, there was an emergency disconnection of some elements of the transmission system in the region. Repair crews are already working on repairing the damage and restoring the power supply.

In all other regions, there are no network restrictions, outage schedules do not apply.

All energy facilities that were previously damaged by Russian missile and drone attacks are undergoing repairs to restore their functionality and increase the reliability of electricity transmission.
