A resident of the village of Volchikha, Altai Territory, was found guilty of discrediting the army for an audio message in the WhatsApp messenger. Iryna Fisher was fined 30,000 rubles, Sibir.Realii reports.
According to Iryna Fisher, the judge of the Volchikhinsky District Court, Zhanna Prysiazhnykh, made the decision at the very first meeting. She ruled that the defendant, being at home and “understanding the importance of her actions during the period when a special military operation is being carried out”, sent a “negative” audio message about the Russian army to the group chat of the WhatsApp messenger. Thus, according to the judge, Fischer discredited the Armed Forces of Russia.
The press service of the regional courts says in a press release that Irina Fischer pleaded guilty.
