The CPRF will not punish a member of its faction in the Samara parliament, Mikhail Abdalkin, who listened to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s message to the Federal Assembly with noodles in his ears. “Kommersant” writes about it.
The regional branch of the party sent a “comprehensive response” to the Samara Provincial Duma, which proposed to expel Abdalkin from the CPRF and dismiss him from leadership positions.
The party did not disclose the content of the response, but, according to “Kommersant”, it emphasizes that the CPRF “makes decisions independently and representatives of other parties do not have the right to interfere in their activities.”
In March 2023, the court fined Abdalkin 150,000 rubles for the noodle video under the article on discrediting the Russian government. At the same time, Abdalkin did not say a word in the video, but wrote in his comment: “I fully support, fully agree, excellent performance. I have not heard anything like it in the last 23 years. I am pleasantly surprised.”
