In Bratsk, Dmitry Mikheev, who was arrested in connection with the arson of the military enlistment office, was charged with committing a terrorist attack. He faces 12 to 20 years in prison, Zona Solidarity reports.

Now 21-year-old Dmitry Mikheev is in the city’s pre-trial detention center No. 2. According to a number of sources, Mikheev worked as a sound engineer in the local television company “Bratsk”. There, the news about the employee’s detention was called “foreign agent gossip.” Later, TRC employees reported that Mikheev “doesn’t work here anymore,” Mediazona writes.

After the start of the war in Ukraine, arson of military enlistment offices and administrative buildings became more frequent in Russia. “Since the summer, some of those arrested in arson cases have been charged with a terrorist attack,” Mediazona notes.
