In Crimea, Russian radio stations broadcast the address of the head of Ukrainian military intelligence

In the annexed Crimea, on February 23, two Russian radio stations broadcast the anthem of Ukraine and the address of the head of Ukrainian military intelligence, Kirill Budanov. This is reported by Krym.Realii with reference to local mass media and Telegram channels.
The intrusion occurred on the air of radio stations “Sputnik v Krymu” (part of the “Russia Segodnya” holding) and “Vera”. The text of the appeal stated the inevitability of the return of all Ukrainian territories seized by Russia since 2014:
“Citizens of Ukraine! Kirill Budanov is addressing you. Ukraine is returning all captured territories. Donbass, the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the entire south of Ukraine will return home forever. We will find every traitor, no matter where they are hiding. They will all be liquidated. All patriots, it’s time to act has arrived. Wait, we are coming to you. Glory to Ukraine!”
Deputy Minister of Internal Policy, Information and Communications of the Crimea, Yulia Kylyk, said that the relay equipment of the stations had been hacked. “Sputnik in Crimea” temporarily interrupted its broadcast.
The Russian radio station clarified that they broadcast Budanov’s address in Alushta, Belogorsk, Dzhankoye and Sudake, but not in Simferopol and Sevastopol.
