In Khanty-Mansiysk, the regional court sentenced a Russian citizen on charges of treason. In addition, he was convicted of other, unnamed crimes, for a total of 12 years and 6 months in prison. This is stated on the court’s website.

The court did not disclose the name, age, gender of the convicted person, and what exactly he is accused of. The circumstances of such cases are usually classified, the details become known to the public only if the lawyer or relatives of the accused try to draw attention to the process.

On the website of the court, the convict is called by one letter of his last name, S. In December, “Moscow Komsomolets” reported that a 34-year-old resident of Khanty-Mansiysk, Kirill Suslov, was arrested by a court in Moscow on suspicion of treason.

The publication reported that Suslov is the head of the civil defense headquarters of the supply department of the Disaster Medicine Center, convicted of fraud. He was accused of 10 cases of fraud.

In particular, he promised one of the victims to find her a position in the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for money, and to the other – to conclude a contract with the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It is claimed that a fake FSB certificate was found in his possession during his arrest. It is not known whether this person is connected with the sentence handed down in Khanty-Mansiysk.
