In Krasnodar, two girls were fined 100 thousand for a kiss

In Krasnodar, the court fined two local women 50,000 rubles each for posting a video on the Internet in which one of them confesses her love to the other, gives flowers, and then kisses.

The girlfriends, one of whom is 24 years old, and the other is 19 years old, were found guilty of “propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations.”

In addition, the Ministry of Internal Affairs published a video with apologies to the girls. In it, they say that they regret what happened, which was a joke on their part with the purpose of “hyping”. At the same time, one of the police officers declares that a girl’s kiss could harm the psyche of minors.

• In November of last year, the Supreme Court of Russia satisfied the lawsuit of the Ministry of Justice, banned the non-existent international LGBT movement and declared it extremist. Before that, the Russian authorities adopted a number of repressive laws against LGBT people, including a complete ban on so-called LGBT propaganda and a de facto ban on transgender transition and changing the gender marker in documents.
• Recently, law enforcement agencies regularly raid clubs frequented by LGBT people and break up adult parties, both private and those held in specialized establishments. Participants of such parties are detained, arrested or forced to publicly apologize for “immoral behavior”, and clubs are closed.
