Borus TV channel reports on the detention of Glyskov. Hlyskov was detained on suspicion of extorting a bribe, TASS later confirmed with reference to a source in law enforcement agencies. The case is handled by the Investigative Committee on Transport. At the same time, the publication “NGS” reports that Glyskov is in the department of the Investigative Committee. LDPR representative Semen Sendersky confirmed to “NGS” that the police did not come to the party’s office.
“Prospekt Mira” reports that Glyskov was detained near the restaurant “Pigs and Pearls” in front of the building of the Legislative Assembly. He was shined on his hands with an ultraviolet lamp, with the help of which marked bills are detected.
From 2008 to 2016, Alexander Glyskov was a deputy of the city council of Krasnoyarsk, in 2016 he was elected to the Legislative Assembly of the region. In September 2023, he took part in the gubernatorial election and took second place: the LDPR candidate scored 11.3% against 70.2% for the current head, Mikhail Kotyukov.
