In the Kemerovo region, employees of the UgolExportTrade company went on strike on Monday because they had not been paid their salaries for several months. The workers gathered near the cutting site and demanded a meeting with the management, but no one came to them.
According to the publication “Vash Gorod”, the owner of the company, Sergey Kravchenko, stopped the development of the field. Employees assume that he left the country. The participants of the strike called on the head of Kuzbass, Sergey Tsyvileev, to intervene in the situation.
On July 7, the Investigative Committee began an investigation into the fact of non-payment of salaries. The inspection showed that at least 190 employees of “UgolExportTrade” and “Kuznetskzheldortrans” did not receive salaries for several months. The employer owed them 100 to 400 thousand rubles per person.
As Sibir.Realii clarifies, a criminal case has been initiated against the companies, both companies can declare bankruptcy to write off their debts. The Kemerovo Prosecutor’s Office is also investigating the reports of employees about non-payment of salaries at the Ugol company.
