In Omsk, the court sentenced the former head of the regional tax department, Vladimir Repin, to six years in prison and found him guilty of accepting 10 million rubles as a bribe. This is reported by Bk-55.
According to the investigation, in 2021 Repin received a bribe from the owner of Neftegazstroymontazh company Dmytro Nemysh. Lawyer Dmitry Grigoriev acted as mediator. In exchange for money, Repin promised not to conduct tax audits in the company for 2021. Bk-55 emphasizes that the initiator of the bribe was the former head of the tax service.
The court also confiscated property worth 10 million rubles from Repin. Lawyer Grigoriev received 5 years of strict regime prison, as well as a fine of 10 million rubles. The court fined Nemysha 18 million rubles.
Since 1994, Vladimir Repin has worked in the administration of the Omsk region, later he held managerial positions at the Omsk Center for Technical Inventory and Land Management and at the A.S. Popov Radio Factory. Since 2012, he headed the regional Federal Tax Service, and in the summer of 2022 he headed the control and audit department of the federal head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
