In the Paris metro, the police opened fire on a woman who shouted “Allahu Akbar” and “You will all die.” This was reported by the Reuters agency with reference to the head of the Paris police.

Metro passengers reported that the woman “made aggressive, jihadist comments.” According to the official speaker of the Cabinet of France, Olivier Veran, the police pulled the woman aside and asked her to calm down. They also asked her to show her hands to make sure she was not a danger. Veran added that “law enforcement officers had no other choice but to open fire on this woman, given the danger of the situation.”

The woman was wounded in the stomach, she was taken to the hospital.

The police chief said that the identity of the woman has not yet been confirmed. Two criminal cases were initiated: against the woman and against the policemen on the fact of using a weapon.
