In St. Petersburg, a former fighter of PMC “Wagner” was detained on suspicion of organizing a murder

Alexander Tyutyn, a former fighter of PMC “Wagner”, was detained in St. Petersburg on charges of organizing a contract killing. According to the investigation, he tried to order the murder of his wife. In 2021, the court already sentenced him to 23 years in prison for the murder of four people and the attempt to organize the murder of his niece.

67-year-old Alexander Tyutyn was detained on the evening of December 21. This happened after a colleague of the suspect in “Wagner” turned to the Investigative Committee, to whom he turned with a proposal to kill his wife, reports 47.news. He turned to the police instead, the publication’s sources said.

Tyutyn is a former participant in the Russian invasion of Ukraine. He received a medal for bravery from PMC “Wagner”. He was recruited into the PMC from the colony, spending 4 years out of the 23 assigned to him under arrest.

He was arrested in 2018 after trying to hire a hitman to kill his niece due to an inheritance dispute, Sever.Realii reports. During the investigation, it turned out that earlier he was the organizer of the second murder, which took place in 2005 in the Leningrad region.

Then Tyutin’s business partner, entrepreneur Dmitry Zeynalov, his wife, 11-year-old son and 15-year-old daughter were killed. They were first shot with a machine gun, and then finished off with an ax.
